Laboratory Testing
Soil
Concrete
Concrete is composed of sand, gravel, crushed rock, or other aggregates
held together by a hardened paste of cement and water. It is one
of the most widely used structural building materials. Some of its
important properties are: durability, workability, water tightness,
strength, elasticity, creep, extensibility, and thermal properties.
However, poorly made concrete or the wrong materials in the wrong
environment can cause structural failure. Our lab testing services
consist of the following:
- Materials analysis
- Coating selection and failure analysis
- Strength testing
Mortar
Like concrete, mortar is an important building material. Also like
concrete, the strength of a mortar depends on its mixture and materials.
Our mortar lab test will identify the mortar's components, calculate
the porosity and fracture limit, and identify any possible problems
like non-homogeneous mixtures or soft mortar.
